“I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.” – Mark Twain

06.02.2009. Tinype sa Word.

We just came from SM. Lakas ng ulan sa labas, hassle. Nakabili na kami ng bagong sapatos. YAY! Ipagbunyi. Armando Caruso kasi.

06.04.2009. Enrollment.

Lols. Natawa ko dito.

Meron pa:
4 bookkeeping ako noon, ngayon, bukas, at magpakailanman!!! Ikaw??
Pero at the end of the day, kanya-kanyang diskarte parin ‘yan sa pagkuha ng trabaho, DUH~!

UPCAT Form.

Sabi ni Ginoong Ricardo Lee sa akin, Be the one out of five.

May Adv. Algebra. Sabi pa ni Senpai CJ first time niyang magka-straight 8 sa Math nung fourth year siya.

Pfft.

Tinignan ko rin yung mga units. Naawa naman ako sa PEHM. 0.2 lang. E bakit dalawang oras parin ang PE? Hehe. Loko lang.

Tapos ko nang basahin yung Po-on. Nalagyan ko narin ng bagong cover. YAY, IPAGBUNYI!

P. 223
The General had dismounted; he marched up the pass, telling his men in Tagalog and now, in Spanish as well, that they should wait till they had those blue shirts clear in their sights, then and only then - he was telling them, although he himself perhaps was trembling, not to be afraid, that since they would not get out of this alive anyway, they should then die like men. "Like men - understand? How many men are left in the world? You there, Kardo, you have no beard and no beard on that face will ever grow. But I know you have testicles. You are a man, are you not, Kardo?"
Laughter.
"Maybe, my General."
More laughter.
It was eerie, the laughter that welled from them on this early morning.

P. 215
He wet his pencil tip with his tongue, a habit that never left him, and wrote: Duty comes in many forms; at times duty to country may conflict with duty to family. Yet, with a lucid mind the guises can be torn away and in the end, duty becomes one, and that is duty to value justice above everything - to do what is right not because someone ordains it, but because the heart which is the seat of truth decrees it so.

Duty. Justice. All his life he head never really given much though to these, nor about the possibility of his being really free. He was concerned with being secure, with being part of the structure that the friars had built, because wherever he went, he saw that they did not even have guns. Their being white marked them as superior beings, for how else could they have conquered this land, how else could they have written all those books and understood the mysteries of God? For as long as he was brown and Indio, he was marked an inferior man, destined to be no more than an acolyte.

All this ignominy had been wiped away - the Indio had fought the white man and won, but how fragile, how short-lived that victory had been.

P. 231
Conquest by force is not sanctioned by God. The Americans have no right to be here. We will defeat them in the end because we believe this land they usurp is ours; God created it for us. The whole history of mankind has shown how faith endures while steel rusts.

P. 226
...and having learned more, would then convert and conquer. Conquer with what? With knowledge, more than anything, for what are guns? They will rust and fail, but not knowledge which is strength.

ABNKKBSNPLAKo?! ni Bob Ong

P 27

Makakabuti ba sa mag-asawa kung malalaman nila ang sum and difference of two cubes?

P 41
… Sabi ni Grant Gilmore, “The better the society, the less law there will be. In heaven there will be no law… in hell there will be nothing but law, and due process will be meticulously observed.”

Hell ang high school.

Cool.
